I can't remember
Four fifths of the books I read
The colors of the socks I'm wearing
My sister's middle name,
Her fiance's last one,
When my mother's birthday is,
Where my keys are,
How to brush my teeth
And comb my hair right,
Why I started writing poetry.

But I can remember
The first time I saw you
The first words we said to each other
Your outfit that day
And how it all felt.

Hint hint hint:
It was good.
